Zachary Krevor, Ph.D.

President & Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Zachary C. Krevor serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Stratolaunch, a leading pure-play hypersonics company. Dr. Krevor leads the company’s strategic vision and oversees all aspects of its operations, driving innovation in reusable hypersonic flight testing and expanding access to critical test capabilities for government and commercial customers. Dr. Krevor was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in March 2022.

With more than two decades of aerospace experience, Dr. Krevor has led cross-functional integration between business and engineering teams to develop advanced aircraft and spacecraft systems. His leadership has driven the creation of groundbreaking technologies adopted by organizations including the Department of War, Air Force Research Laboratory, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, National Reconnaissance Office and NASA.

Prior to becoming CEO, Dr. Krevor served as Stratolaunch’s Chief Operating Officer and previously as Vice President of Engineering, where he led the development of the company’s launch systems and helped shape its evolution into a premier provider of reusable hypersonic flight test services.

Before joining Stratolaunch, Dr. Krevor held engineering and technical leadership roles supporting landmark aerospace programs, including Lockheed Martin’s Orion spacecraft and Altair Lunar Lander programs, as well as serving as Chief Systems Engineer for Sierra Nevada Corporation’s Dream Chaser program.

Dr. Krevor holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and both a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is an AIAA Associate Fellow, serves on the AIAA Space Systems Technical Committee, and is a licensed pilot.
